Kentucky DB Mike Edwards is going to be alright, and that’s the most important piece of news in this story.
Wildcats coach Mark Stoops told reporters on Thursday morning that the team had a scare during Tuesday’s practice.
Edwards sustained an injury that forced an ambulance to come to campus and transport Edwards to the hospital for evaluation.
Details of the injury were not made available, but Stoops did say that Edwards “will be fine” and has since been released from the hospital.
Stoops said Edwards will miss Saturday’s spring game, but no timetable for his availability beyond that was revealed.
