Mike Norvell, Florida State players have heartbreaking reactions to being left out of CFP

Mike Norvell and Florida State hosted a College Football Playoff selection show watch party at Doak Campbell Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately for the Noles, the party ended with bitter disappointment despite a 13-0 season. FSU was left out of the College Football Playoff top 4, slotting in at No. 5 behind a one-loss Alabama team.
Norvell appeared to take a few moments to collect himself before addressing the team. Jordan Travis can also be seen in the background after the final decision was announced.

This was an unprecedented College Football Playoff debate. The field included 3 undefeated Power-5 champions as well as a pair of 12-1 SEC teams who also had strong résumés. Still, it had to be a shock for Florida State to be left out of the field after completing a 13-0 season with a trio of top 25 wins as well.
Florida State will now prepare for the Orange Bowl where it could become the only 14-0 power-5 team of the College Football Playoff era.
