Mississippi State announced that four players are suspended for Saturday’s game at Texas A&M.

As has been the case all season, the names were revealed via the materials provided to working media members in the press box. Logan Lowery shared the sheet listing the four players out due to a violation of team rules:

  • DT Lee Autry
  • LB Willie Gay Jr.
  • LT Kwatravious Johnson
  • FS Marcus Murphy

MSU spokespeople do not comment on the specifics of the “team rules” suspensions, though it is speculated that at least some are in connection to the “Tutorgate” violations. The NCAA allowed Mississippi State to stagger the suspensions for the 10 players.

The Aggies and Bulldogs are set to kick off soon (11 a.m. CT) in College Station, Texas.
