Mississippi State lands massive 2022 offensive lineman from New Orleans

Even though most Mississippi State fans are laser-focused on tonight’s College World Series title opener against Vanderbilt, the football squad got some good news, too.
That’s because the Bulldogs and coach Mike Leach dipped into New Orleans to land a commitment from a massive 3-star 2022 offensive lineman.
As you can see below, Cam East of St. Augustine High School announced via Twitter that he was committing to the Bulldogs:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, East is the No. 47 offensive tackle in the class of 2022 and the No. 24 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Bulldogs now have 14 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 17 in the nation and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
