The Mississippi State Bulldogs have had a lot of staff turnover this offseason, and it seemed to be over heading into spring practices.
However, that is not the case after all, as the Bulldogs are losing a defensive assistant to the NFL.
Per a report from Steve Robertson, Mississippi State has confirmed that LB coach Tem Lukabu is leaving for an NFL job:

Lukabu spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. It’s unclear at this time if he’s going back to the 49ers or not.
Robertson reported that a replacement is expected to be named quickly:
I’m told that Mississippi State has already reached a verbal agreement with a current college linebackers coach to replace Lukabu. I expect a formal announcement on the replacement to come quickly.

We’ll see what happens moving forward, but the Bulldogs will certainly want to move quickly with this.
