Mississippi State signs two-sport athlete for football and baseball

Mississippi State’s newest signee hopes to catch balls on the gridiron and the outfield in Starkville.

The Bulldogs have signed Zach Farrar, a two-sport athlete out of Texas who will play football and baseball for the school. The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder out of Southlake, Texas is a three-star prospect as a receiver.

Farrar was also offered by Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Washington among others.
