The Missouri Tigers basketball team is not getting off to a good start as it will be missing 3 players Tuesday in the season opener against Central Michigan.
Per an announcement from the school, Mizzou will be without freshmen Trevon Brazile and Kaleb Brown due to non-COVID illnesses. Meanwhile, Kansas State transfer DaJuan Gordon is also out due to an NCAA issue:

Gordon is a Kansas State transfer who was expected to make a huge impact on this year’s team. Last year, he averaged 9.4 points per game, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
Brown is the younger brother of Mizzou’s Kobe Brown and is a 3-star guard out of Huntsville, Alabama.
Brazile is a small forward out of Springfield, Missouri, who in high school averaged 11.2 points a game and 5.1 rebounds as a junior.
No word yet on when any of the players will return to the team.
