It appears that Missouri could have some more injury woes at the quarterback position. According to ESPN’s Katie George, quarterback Matt Zollers injured his hand during No. 22 Missouri’s game vs. No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday.

Zollers didn’t come out of the game in the first half, yet George stated that it’s unknown if the injury will have a lingering effect.

The 6-foot-4 freshman has taken over the starting role in the absence of Beau Pribula, who injured his leg in Missouri’s 17-10 loss at Vanderbilt on Oct. 25. Mizzou also lost quarterback Sam Horn to a season-ending injury earlier this year.

Heading into this game, Zollers completed 20 of his 29 passes for 213 yards with 2 touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 92.3 QBR.

Coming out of high school, the native of Royersford, Pennsylvania was regarded by 247Sports as the No. 9 quarterback in the nation and the No. 2 in-state prospect.

Missouri is aiming for its first victory vs. a ranked opponent this season after losses to Alabama and Vanderbilt.
