More helmet punching: Indiana defender ejected for repeatedly punching Michigan player

There have been quite a few fights in football recently. Last week saw Florida and Mizzou players brawl and also a few punches thrown in the NFL.

That fighting continued on Saturday, as an Indiana defender was ejected for repeatedly throwing punches at a Michigan player.

As you can see below, the Indiana player takes 2 or 3 good shots at the Michigan player (who was still wearing his helmet, of course):

Why players continue to punch other players’ helmets is baffling. It’s not worth the suspension.

Either way, this Indiana player couldn’t stop himself, and now he’ll have to miss at least the rest of the game against the Wolverines.
