Despite the University of Alabama football team notching its first road victory of the season, 14-13 at Arkansas on Saturday, it didn’t move in either poll this week.

The Crimson Tide remained seventh in both the Amway Coaches Poll, and the Associated Press Poll released Sunday.

With college football reaching the midway point of the season, Alabama (5-1 overall, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) is the fourth-ranked team in the league behind Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Auburn, and has yet play two of them – the Bulldogs and Tigers.

After defeating three straight top-10 teams Mississippi State jumped up into No. 1 for the first time in program history, and Ole Miss is third in both poll. The coaches have Auburn sixth while the writers have it eighth.

Last week Alabama was the top ranked one-loss team in both polls.

Alabama hosts No. 21 Texas A&M, which has lost two straight games to ranked teams, on Saturday (3:30 p.m. CT, CBS).
