WATCH: Michael Porter Jr. scores first points since returning from injury
Finally, Michael Porter Jr. is back.
The 5-star Mizzou freshman is playing in his first game since he injured his back 2 minutes into his college debut. Now, Porter is trying to fuel a deep March run for the Tigers.
Porter came off the bench in the second round SEC Tournament matchup against Georgia, but he didn’t waste much time making an impact.
He matched his career point total by getting a bucket in transition for his first points since he went down with his back injury:

Porter is back and the Tigers are off to a good start in the first half against Georgia with an early lead.
This time, there figures to be more than one field goal for Mizzou fans to get excited about.
