With only one week left in the regular season, several teams have their eyes on a conference championship and a College Football Playoff berth.
This could be one of the more competitive postseasons in recent history, and BetOnline.AG reflects that as national title odds were updated on Sunday.
Ohio State’s handling of a top 10 Penn State team has the Buckeyes with the best odds at +175, but undefeated LSU and Clemson come in right behind at +250 and +275, respectively.
Outside of those three teams, Georgia has +700 odds, while Alabama sits above Oklahoma, Baylor and Utah with +1000. If one of those three teams behind Alabama wins out and are conference champions, they would likely get into the four-team field over the Tide. However, oddsmakers may be affected by seeing Alabama bounce back after losing the SEC West and still making a national championship run in the past, like in the 2017 season.
Oklahoma comes in at +1600, with Utah at +2500 and Minnesota at +10000.
Baylor and Cincinnati round out the updated odds, with little faith placed in the Baylor Bears, who feasibly could still fight their way into the CFP.
