SEC football is must-see TV, so it’s only fitting that there’s a Netflix show chronicling the 2024 season. An epic moment for Tennessee was included in the Netflix’s new documentary, “SEC Football: Any Given Saturday”.
The show captured Tennessee’s raucous road locker room after defeating in-state rival Vanderbilt 36-23 in the regular season finale. The Vols gleefully sang their trash-talking Commodores chant in the aftermath of the victory.
Here’s a clip from the show:

Earlier in the season, Vanderbilt toppled then-No. 1 Alabama, so Tennessee definitely didn’t take the Commodores lightly. The win solidified a spot in the College Football Playoff for Tennessee, who went on to lose in the first round to eventual national champion Ohio State.
Former Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson was the star of the show in that game against Vanderbilt. He averaged more than 7 yards per carry and ended his day with 178 yards on the ground in that big victory.
The rematch this season in Knoxville is slated for Nov. 29. Overall, Tennessee leads the all-time series 81-33-5 with six consecutive victories. The Vols have won all of the last 6 matchups by double-digits.
