A pair of NFL defensive backs have fired trash talk back and forth on Twitter leading up to Saturday’s Alabama-Florida State game.

Landon Collins of the New York Giants, who played at Alabama, and Jalen Ramsey of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who played at Florida State, reminisced about the 2013 season, which featured preseason AP No. 1 Alabama and eventual national champion, FSU. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix of the Green Bay Packers, another former Alabama player, also joined in the discussion.

The 2013 season is most remembered for Florida State beating Auburn, 34-31, in the national championship game on the strength of 21 fourth-quarter points. Jameis Winston also won the Heisman Trophy that season, and Alabama, of course, was the victim of Auburn’s “Kick Six” return by Chris Davis.

Ramsey had 49 tackles, a sack and one interception as a freshman for the 2013 champions. He also returned a fumble for a touchdown. Collins picked up 69 tackles and two interceptions during his sophomore campaign with Alabama in that same season. He had two interceptions. Clinton-Dix had 51 tackles and two interceptions in 2013.

No matter the outcome Saturday night, look for these players to pick up their arguments with a new result.
