The Alamite, an upscale hotel backed by Alabama football coach Nick Saban and his wife Terry, is set to open next week in downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

“Terry and I are excited to be a part of the ownership group for The Alamite,” said Nick Saban. “Not only will this investment benefit our local economy, but it also represents a new standard for design and comfort in downtown Tuscaloosa.”

The boutique hotel has 112 rooms and features a French steakhouse and a rooftop bar and grill. The hotel features inspired by Tuscaloosa, including curated artwork from Tuscaloosa women and other prominent southern artists.

The Alamite is a 5-minute drive and about a half-hour walk from Bryant-Denny Stadium. It is set to open Sept. 15 ahead of Alabama’s matchup with Louisiana-Monroe.

Alabama is coming off a big 55-0 win against Utah State in week one and is looking for a big win at Texas this weekend.
