Nick Saban and No. 10 Alabama will aim to get back in the win column when they face host South Florida in Week 3. Coming off the first defeat vs. Texas since 1982, Crimson Tide fans are collectively pondering how to bounce back.
During a recent radio appearance, Saban hilariously beat a caller named Peewee to the chase.
“Well Peewee, I’ve been wanting to talk to you all week, man. We’ve got to firm up the pocket. We’re setting too soft. We’re getting pushed back in the middle,” Saban said. “Everybody thinks we can’t hold up against the blitz but they’re sacking us with 4-man rush and 1 3-man rush. Only 1 sack came off of a pressure. So I wanted to ask you, ‘What the hell is going on?'”
Saban also recalled his childhood nostalgia from Friday Night Lights with an interesting story during the radio appearance.
Former Tennessee offensive coordinator Alex Golesh shared South Florida’s mindset heading into the matchup vs. heavily favored Alabama.
Alabama at South Florida is slated for Sept. 16 at 3:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on ABC.
