Nick Saban explains why Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart didn’t play on Saturday

Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart was noticeably absent from the Crimson Tide’s 31-3 win over Chattanooga on Saturday.
Though Stewart has battled injuries this season, Alabama coach Nick Saban said after the game that wasn’t what kept the talented junior out of the lineup, according to AL.com:
“Sometimes we have players that have violation of our standard of behavior,” Saban said. “Everyone wants to play. Sometimes when you have it, you just tell guys, ‘Well, we’re not going to play you.'”
Saban didn’t elaborate on what Stewart’s behavioral miscue was, but it was clearly enough that he felt Stewart shouldn’t play.
Stewart leads the Tide with 683 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches. It remains to be seen if he’ll suit up against Auburn in next week’s Iron Bowl.
