Nick Saban broke out an expletive when describing the aftermath and ramifications of Alabama’s 32-31 loss against LSU. The legendary coach isn’t one to hold back and he colorfully summarized why Alabama picked up its second defeat of the season.
Saban said that Alabama had a strong week of practice, but without applying the lessons into the game, there’s going to be lapses in judgment.
Saban: "You hope when guys practice well that they will play better in the game. But there's so many things that happen in the game that you have to be able to maintain your individual momentum. … When an 'oh shit' moment happens, you've gotta be able to play the next play."

Alabama dropped to No. 9 in the CFP after the narrow loss to LSU. The Tide lost despite having more total yards and first downs. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young completed 25 of his 51 passes for 328 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. It was Alabama’s first defeat at Tiger Stadium since 2010.
Alabama will aim to bounce back with a road matchup contest vs. No. 11 Ole Miss on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET/CBS).
