Darius Rucker went out of his way to praise Nick Saban leading up to Monday night’s National Championship Game during an appearance on ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM. The die-hard South Carolina fan believes the Alabama coach is the greatest coach the college game has ever seen.

Despite the praise, Rucker also shared another thought on Saban and the dominance of his Alabama program: It’s made college football a little boring.

“He’s the greatest college football coach ever. He’s done it everywhere he’s gone and he’s won,” Rucker said. “What he’s doing at Alabama is almost making college football boring (because) you know Alabama’s going to be (in contention for the title) every year.

“Like I said the other day, he’s not recruiting, he’s just asking.”

The full clip of Rucker’s radio interview can be heard here:

Do you agree at all? Is it boring to see Alabama win over and over again and play for the title seemingly every year?
