It’s impossible for most people to imagine what Alabama receivers coach Mike Locksley is going through this week after his son was tragically killed on Sunday.
However, Locksley has been with the Crimson Tide for most of the week, and coach Nick Saban said Locksley would be on the sidelines for Saturday’s game against Fresno State.
From there, Locksley will head back to Maryland for his son’s funeral:

Saban said he had a conversation with Locksley, who said coaching the Crimson Tide is helping him get through this very difficult time.
Locksley was an offensive analyst for the Crimson Tide last year, but moved into an on-field role this year. He had previously spent time as Maryland, serving as the team’s interim head coach for part of the 2015 season.
