Nick Smith and Arkansas basketball are set to have a strong season.
Smith highlights an incredibly impressive freshman class just arriving to Fayetteville. The 5-star is joined by fellow 5-stars Anthony Black and Jordan Walsh in what was the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class in 2022 just behind Duke.
But Smith says someone on the team that’s not getting enough shine is 4-star freshman Derrian Ford. He detailed why Tuesday afternoon.
Nick Smith says one guy that isn’t being talked about much but is playing well is Derrian Ford. He says Ford gets a lot of 50/50 balls and is defending well. He says he’s played well since they returned from European trip .

Ford is the Razorbacks’ fourth highest rated commit in 2022. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was rated as the No. 77 player in the nation and the No. 3 prospect out of Arkansas.
