We’re not sure why LSU RB Derrius Guice took a shot at Alabama’s defense after the Arkansas win

Though LSU’s ground game rolled over Arkansas on Saturday night, RB Derrius Guice’s thoughts were clearly still on Alabama.
Guice said Arkansas kept stacking the box to stop the LSU running game, but it didn’t matter. He then made a confusing statement about Alabama using 10 players in the box and playing scared against the Tigers:

A quick look at the stats show that Guice only carried the ball two times for eight yards last week in the loss to the Tide.
Star RB Leonard Fournette only had 35 yards on 17 carries. If that’s how Alabama plays when its “scared,” then maybe more teams should be “scared” of LSU.
Guice’s comments won’t matter in the big picture — there’s no way Alabama and LSU will play again this season. Still, you have to question what he was thinking during yesterday’s postgame press conference.
