Offensive coordinator Josh Heupel is Missouri’s highest-paid assistant ever
Josh Heupel already holds quite the distinction with Missouri before even manning the team’s sidelines.
According to Tod Palmer of the Kansas City Star, Heupel will be the highest-paid assistant coach in Missouri football history.
Heupel will make $700,000 in 2016 as he debuts alongside first-year coach Barry Odom. Heupel is replacing Josh Henson, who previously held the distinction of highest-paid assistant in school history with a salary of $675,000 last season.
How does Heupel’s salary rank among SEC offensive coordinators in 2015? Only LSU’s Cam Cameron ($1.5M) and Georgia’s Brian Schottenheimer ($957,200) made more.
