Oklahoma football added to its 2027 Class with a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Isaac Coughran on Tuesday. The 6-4 interior lineman chose the Sooners over Houston, Baylor and Arizona, to name a few.
As you can see above, Coughran hails from Katy, Texas, where he attends Katy High School, located just outside of Houston. He plays all across the offensive line at Katy, but best projects as an interior lineman in college due to his frame. The Sooners offered Coughran in February of 2026.
According to 247Sports, Coughran is considered to be the No. 531 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 31 interior offensive lineman and No. 72 prospect out of the Lone Star State.
Coughran is the 20th addition of Oklahoma‘s 2027 Class, the top-rated class in the country as of late March. He’s also the 5th addition along the offensive line, joining 4-star OTs Cooper Hackett and Kaeden Penny, 3-star OT Luke Wilson and 3-star IOL Tyson Ross.
