Oklahoma fans troll Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin with ‘Gator Chomp’ before kickoff

The Oklahoma Sooners‘ student body made it a point to give Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin a taste of his own trolling medicine Saturday, erupting in the “Gator Chomp” right before kickoff at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Here’s video of the moment:
Kiffin is once again the hottest commodity in coaching, as Florida is reportedly trying to lure him away from Ole Miss to coach the Gators. Florida fired coach Billy Napier last weekend in the middle of a disappointing 3-4 season that has seen the Gators lose 3 times to Top 5 teams as well as drop a home game against USF.
Ole Miss, meanwhile, is taking on Oklahoma a week after losing its first game of 2025. The Rebels tumbled on the road late against then-No. 9 Georgia, falling 43-35. Still, Ole Miss dropped in the national rankings from No. 5 to No. 8 and is primed to contend for a first-ever College Football Playoff berth.
Oklahoma entered Saturday with a 6-1 record and a No. 13 ranking – making the Sooner still a viable candidate for a CFP spot.
Kiffin, 50, is in his 6th year at Ole Miss and entered Saturday with a 50-19 overall record and a 28-17 mark in SEC play.
