Ole Miss adds commitment from JUCO defensive tackle Hal Northern

Ole Miss added a ninth player to its 2018 recruiting class when Northwest Mississippi Community College defensive tackle Hal Northern announced Thursday afternoon that he’s committed to the Rebels.
Northern is the fourth defensive tackle prospect for the Rebels in this class. He is listed at 6-foot-3, 293 pounds, but is not yet rated by the 247 Sports Composite. Northern had at least eight other offers, but Ole Miss was the only SEC offer.
Ole Miss as a team is ranked last in the SEC for the 2018 class.
