Ole Miss is in the middle of an open week, but the Rebels grabbed a key member of the 2025 recruiting class from a fellow SEC program.

Devin Harper, a top-10 interior lineman from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana, flipped his commitment from LSU to Ole Miss on Saturday. He became the 20th player of the cycle to pledge to Lane Kiffin and the Rebels, joining a class that is ranked No. 16 in the country by 247Sports.

Harper, considered by 247Sports as the country’s No. 6 interior offensive lineman and a Top 100 player, committed to the Tigers in January and took an official visit to Baton Rouge in October.

But the Tigers have struggled in 2024, and just moments after they lost to Florida on Saturday, Harper flipped his pledge to the Rebels just over three and a half weeks from the Early Signing Period. It’s a key loss for the Tigers, who still have the No. 5 class in the country but no longer have a priority interior offensive lineman in the fold.

Take a look at some of Harper’s high school highlights below, courtesy of Hudl:

The Rebels are 10-0 and visit Florida in Week 13 before hosting Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.
