Ole Miss is getting some help at linebacker in 2016.

The Rebels announced on Wednesday that linebacker Rommel Mageo, a fifth-year graduate transfer from Oregon State, will join the school to play his final year of eligibility in Oxford.

Assistant offensive line coach/coordinator of recruiting development Ben Aigamaua announced the addition on Twitter this morning.

Mageo played three seasons with the Beavers, and he was a standout on last season’s unit. Mageo led the team in tackles in 2015 by a wide margin as his total of 87 was 18 more than anyone else. Meanwhile, he led the team in interceptions (2) and forced fumbles (2).
