Paralyzed high school football player says ‘Roll Tide’ after coming off ventilator

Two weeks ago Ethan Glynn was paralyzed was playing in a high school football game in Bloomington, Minnesota.
His road to recover is going to be long and difficult, but the young man is now off his ventilator and spoke his first words since being injured.
Those words? “Roll Tide”

Glynn was left paralyzed from the shoulders down after a tackle on September 2 during the season opener for the Jefferson Jaguars football team. After the game, the Glynn family said Ethan had suffered severe injuries to his neck and spinal cord.
The family is offering periodical updates through a journal on CaringBridge and there is also GoFundMe page to help with medical expenses.
