The Boston Celtics lost Game 2 in heartbreaking fashion, falling to 0-2 against the New York Knicks. Boston led by as many as 20 points for the 2nd straight game but couldn’t hold the Knicks off either time.

Former Celtic Paul Pierce might have earned the worst share of the loss, however. The current FS1 host made a bet that said he would walk the entirety of his way to work if the Celtics lost Game 2. And folks, Paul Pierce appears to be a man of his word:

Here’s a look at Pierce’s original terms for the bet. According to Pierce in the video below, the entire walk is 15 miles – around an 8-hour walk – but he updated the distance Thursday morning to 20 miles.

Keep in mind, Pierce still has to work after walking 20 miles – and his job requires that he be on camera. He’ll certainly have enough time to think about what he’ll say on air.

Boston, Pierce’s former team and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern conference, is in trouble against the Knicks. New York leads the series 2-0 and the series hasn’t even shifted to NYC yet. The Knicks and Celtics will face off on Saturday for Game 3.
