Paul Tyson is headed to Clemson on Early Signing Day. The former Alabama quarterback was most recently with Arizona State before departing after playing in 1 game and throwing no passes.

Arizona State fired head coach Herm Edwards midseason, which certainly played another factor in Tyson’s decision to transfer.
Tyson completed 10 of his 16 passes for 150 yards during the 2021 season at Alabama. Tyson redshirted his first season with the Crimson Tide and didn’t play during the 2020 campaign.
Tyson was regarded by the 247Sports composite rankings as the No. 12 prospect from Alabama heading into his college career. The 6-5, 230-pound junior is the great-grandson of legendary Alabama coach Bear Bryant.
DJ Uiagalelei departed Clemson but Tyson will have to vie with Cade Klubnik for the starting job.
