Peach Bowl president jokes about taxing Nick Saban and Bill Battle for frequent Atlanta trips

It’s only fitting that Alabama’s first Playoff game will take place in Atlanta. After all, the Crimson Tide have practically made the Georgia capital their second home during Nick Saban’s time as head coach.
Alabama has played in Atlanta seven times under Saban, and it has a 6-1 record in the Georgia Dome. Because the Crimson Tide are such frequent guests in the city, Peach Bowl President and CEO Gary Stokan joked about making Saban and athletic director Bill Battle pay taxes at Monday’s press conference.

Atlanta has been kind to the Crimson Tide, but thanks to Alabama’s loyal fanbase and national appeal, Saban and Battle have probably helped the city make out pretty well.
