Tennessee needs 2 wins to make it to Omaha. Appropriately, Mr. Omaha himself is in Knoxville to cheer on Tony Vitello’s squad Friday.

Peyton Manning is in the Lindsey Nelson Stadium stands as No. 1 Tennessee takes on Notre Dame in the Knoxville Super Regional, a best-of-3 series for 1 of the 8 spots in the College World Series, played in Omaha.

Unfortunately for the Vols, the Irish jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a pair of home runs in their first two trips to the plate. The game is currently in the 3rd inning, airing on ESPN2.
