Tennessee fans received their wish Monday night when Rick Barnes decided to stay at Tennessee over taking the UCLA job.
Barnes turned down a $5 million offer from the Bruins after Tennessee brought a new deal to the table. Those details haven’t been released yet.
Vols AD Phillip Fulmer released a statement Monday night confirming reports that Barnes would return to Knoxville after guiding Tennessee to a Sweet 16 berth.
