With SEC Media Days in the rearview mirror, we are now only 50 days away from kickoff in Atlanta between Alabama and Florida State. The game will be the first college football contest, and the first non-exhibition football game, in Atlanta’s brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Adding to the hype, there’s a good chance the game will pit the No. 1 and No. 2 preseason teams against each other in the regular season opener, something that has yet to happen in the 67-year history of the AP Poll.
To celebrate this mark, the Chick-fli-A Peach Bowl Twitter account revealed the official artwork for the game between the Crimson Tide and the Seminoles.
