Yep, that’s a float literally depicting sweeping something under the rug. Of course, it’s referring to Baylor’s sexual assault scandal, which was found to have been extensively covered up by coaches and officials.
The university was found to either not investigate or inadequately investigate repeated allegations of sexual assault involving multiple football players. As a result, coach Art Briles was fired and president and chancellor Ken Starr was removed from his position.
