The first big National Signing Day flip came Wednesday morning out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. when former Alabama commit 4-star DE Khris Bogle announced he was signing with the Florida Gators.

Although Bogle had publicly pledged to the Crimson Tide in January, he continued to take official visits after UA defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi’s departure. Adding the No. 3 weak-side defensive end, No. 10 Florida recruit and No. 71 prospect overall in the 2019 class on the 247Sports Composite is a big get for Dan Mullen and the Gators.

Florida recruiting staffer Lee Davis Begley tweeted out a gif of Chucky after Bogle’s announcement. Bogle brought a Chucky doll to his signing announcement, following in the tradition of other Gators.

As a South Florida product, Miami was also one of the final contenders for Bogle. In fact, much of the early social media reaction is between Florida and Miami fans. The in-state rivals open the 2019 season with an Aug. 31 meeting in Orlando.

Here’s a sampling of what fans and media members are saying about Bogle flipping to UF:
