Could one Mississippi quarterback be switching sides in the Magnolia Bowl?

Ole Miss has offered St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, Miss.) quarterback Myles Brennan, a current LSU commit. Brennan expressed excitement about having an in-state SEC offer.

“You know it’s a huge offer,” Brennan told Rebels247. “As we know, I’m committed and the biggest thing is we never know what will happen in this recruiting process, so we just have to take it day by day. But always an honor to get an in-state school.”

If LSU lose its quarterback commit, some of the blame goes to Texas A&M. The Rebels turned their attention to Brennan after Connor Blumrick committed to the Aggies on Friday.

Brennan, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, is the No. 6 recruit out of Mississippi according to 247Sports. The three-star pro-style quarterback committed to LSU in April.

Previous SEC offers for Brennan came from Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
