The Auburn Tigers have star running backs like Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson returning to the offense this fall, but their depth at the position took a hit on Thursday evening.
According to an AL.com report, 4-star 2017 RB Alaric Williams won’t be eligible to play this fall and will instead head to a community college for this season of action:

Williams will attend Garden City Community College in Kansas this fall, with the hope of returning to Auburn next year.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Williams is the No. 10 athlete in the class of 2017 and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
