Last week, it was reported that former Texas A&M DB Nick Harvey was transferring away from South Carolina after spending just one year with the Gamecocks.
Now, it appears the Gamecock secondary is taking another hit, as a reserve player has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal as well.
Per SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic, redshirt sophomore DB Jaylan Foster is exploring transfer options ahead of the 2019 season:
South Carolina reserve DB Jaylan Foster has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Transferred from Gardner Webb to South Carolina in December 2016. Was the Big South Conference Freshman of the Year in 2016.

Foster appeared in two games for the Gamecocks in 2018, recording two tackles. He played for Gardner-Webb back in 2016.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but he’ll have either one or two years of eligibility remaining depending on where he chooses to play.
