A court date has been set for Missouri DL Nate Howard.
Howard was arrested in June for possession of a controlled substance. He remains suspended indefinitely from the team while he awaits trial.
It looks like Howard will have to wait a little while longer for his trial as it was reported his preliminary hearing has been set for August 24.
Blake Toppmeyer tweeted the report:

Howard has just 15 tackles and half of a sack in two seasons with Missouri, but Missouri will need everyone they can get to improve their defense. The Tigers allowed 31.5 points per game in 2016 and finished in the bottom three of the SEC in rushing and passing yards allowed.
