One of Tennessee’s more experienced linebackers in junior Will Ignont isn’t expected to play against the Gators Saturday, according to Vols Wire’s Dan Harralson.

Harralson reports that Ignont is expected to play in Tennessee’s next game against Georgia on October 5. No reason was given as to why he’s out against Florida.

The 6-1, 225-pound junior linebacker has totaled 16 tackles in three games against Georgia State, BYU and Chattanooga. For his career, Ignont has recorded 68 tackles, including two for loss.

In Ignont’s absence, senior Daniel Bituli and freshman Henry To’o To’o will likely start at inside linebacker.

The Vols and Gators kickoff at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
