Published:
Former Tennessee QB Sheriron Jones has had a busy offseason so far.
After falling behind both Quinten Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano in the battle to replace Josh Dobbs as the Vols’ starting quarterback, Jones announced his decision to transfer to Independence Community College in Kansas.
Now, according to recruiting insider Ryan Bartow, the Moreno, California, native will move a little closer to home for the upcoming season:

Where Jones plays after Mt. San Jacinto remains to be seen, but the redshirt sophomore quarterback would still have two years of eligibility left.
Jones redshirted in 2015 and appeared in only one game in 2016 as a redshirt freshman, completing his only pass attempt for a total of two yards.
