Report: Fuente will take over at Power 5 school, but not Mizzou

Memphis coach Justin Fuente will succeed Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech, according to WTTG-TV in Washington.
Fuente was considered a possible candidate at Missouri, where two of his former assistants, including defensive coordinator, were on Gary Pinkel’s staff.
Can confirm Justin Fuente will be the Virginia Tech #Hokies next coach, w/Bud Foster staying on as DC. Announcement expected next week.
