As more information becomes available in Miami, it doesn’t look good for Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill.

After suffering a knee injury earlier this week, it appears Tannehill may need ACL surgery, which would effectively end his 2017 season before it even starts.

That would leave the Dolphins in a tough place, as they would have to scramble to replace the former Texas A&M star.

One of those potential replacements is former Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler, who retired this offseason after spending the last few years with the Chicago Bears.

However, according to Mark Block, a longtime friend of Cutler’s who has also served as his agent, the ex-Commodore has not made up his mind about whether or not he wants to return just yet:

A lot still has to happen for Cutler to actually suit up for Miami this season, but the Dolphins can’t afford to wait around at this point.

If Cutler doesn’t make a decision quickly, the Dolphins will look elsewhere for Tannehill’s replacement.
