Although true freshman Jeffery Simmons’ suspension has been known for some time – stemming from his notorious off-the-field incident – senior defensive lineman Nick James and sophomore receiver Malik Dear will now be joining him on the sidelines for the South Alabama game.
James made 10 starts in 2015 but was recently arrested for public intoxication.
