Tyler Trent took the college football world by storm this year, as the Purdue superfan who was battling cancer did a number of great things this season.
Sadly, though, he reportedly passed away on Tuesday evening at age 20.
In his final days, Trent was able to attend Purdue’s Music City Bowl matchup against Auburn, but wasn’t looking well during the pregame ceremony.

Trent wrote a book before he passed away, detailing Purdue’s upset of Ohio State and how he wanted to upset cancer.
He hopes to raise $1 million with proceeds of his book to help fund cancer research. You can find it here.
Rest in peace, Tyler.
