The LSU Tigers have already lost star CB Greedy Williams to the 2019 NFL Draft, and he has decided not to play in the Fiesta Bowl.
On Wednesday, junior DT Ed Alexander also decided that he’d skip the bowl game to prepare for the draft.
Per a report from NOLA.com, Alexander’s mother revealed the news on Wednesday. The report also states that Alexander didn’t consult with LSU before making his decision:

Alexander played in 10 games this year, recording 28 tackles (three for a loss) and one sack — not exactly the kind of numbers teams want from nose tackles.
However, he has a few months to get ready for the NFL Draft, and a strong showing at the Combine would go a long way toward improving his draft stock.
