Texas A&M is reeling after back-to-back losses to finish the season 7-5, including a 50-7 blowout loss to LSU in the final game of the regular season. Overall, it was a disappointing season for the Aggies, although they played one of the toughest schedules in the nation having to play five top 10 teams during the season.

The Aggies are going bowling, however, in Jimbo Fisher’s second season, and will be facing an old Big 12 opponent close to home in the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The news was first reported by Brett McMurphy of Stadium.

Oklahoma State finished the season 8-4, with a 34-16 loss to rival Oklahoma to cap it off.

These two teams were well-acquainted before Texas A&M made the move into the SEC in 2012, and the last time they faced off as conference foes, Oklahoma State won a tight 30-29 contest in College Station in 2011.

It will be interesting to see these two reignite an old matchup in Houston.
