Georgia enters the offseason without one of its talented freshman players.

Safety Johnathan Abram has left the team, according to the AJC, who spoke to his mother.

“Johnathan is not at Georgia,” she told the website.

Abram recorded 25 tackles in 2015, and he started four games for the Bulldogs’ defense. He did not play in UGA’s bowl game due to “personal issues.” Abram was recruited by former defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, who is now at Alabama.

No other details have been provided.

Abram is from Columbia, Mississippi, and he was rated a three-star prospect exiting high school, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
